Depart on overnight flight to Israel.

Friday, 16 March - When You Come Into the Land (Deut. 26:1)
Morning arrival (ideally) at Ben Gurion Airport to be met and assisted by your ITC representative. Ascent to Jerusalem for a breathtaking overview of the Old City. Enter the Old City of Jerusalem. Explore the Southern Wall Excavations and learn more about the ancient Jerusalem Temple at the Davidson Center. Travel through many centuries as you tour the Cardo and Jewish Quarter. Hotel check-in. Kabbalat Shabbat at a choice of venues. Shabbat dinner at the-* hotel.

Shabbat, 17 March - Shabbat in Jerusalem
Shabbat services at a choice of neighborhood synagogues (suggestions, directions to be provided). Sumptuous Shabbat lunch buffet at the hotel. Shabbat afternoon walking tour or visit to the Israel Museum (transportation to the latter on one's own). Free afternoon and evening to take in the special atmosphere of a Jerusalem Shabbat.

Sunday, 18 March - Those Who Sacrificed
In the Kotel Tunnels, walk alongside the massive foundation stones of the Western Wall. Visit Rachel's Tomb, a spiritual pilgrimage site just south of Jerusalem. Tour the Holocaust Memorial Museum and the Children's Memorial at Yad Vashem. Enjoy the hospitality of Abraham our Forefather and a delicious biblical dinner in a tent in the Judean Desert at Eretz Bereisheet.

Monday, 19 March - Freedom Fighters or Fanatics?
Ascend Masada by cable car. Tour this impressive excavation and discuss the terrible dilemma faced by its Jewish population during Roman times. Enjoy a walk through the beautiful Ein Gedi Nature Reserve to the waterfall and review the biblical story of kings David and Saul "on site". Stop for a dip, mud baths, and good hot showers at Mineral Beach on the amazing Dead Sea. Alternative for repeat Israel visitors: Spend some time today at a Dead Sea resort hotel, enjoying its spa facilities, lunch, and the amazing Dead Sea (this option is not included in the tour price). Free time for dinner (on one's own) in Jerusalem. Evening: Attend The Night Spectacular, the fabulous new sound and light show at the Tower of David Museum.

Tuesday, 20 March - Foundations of the Modern State
Experience the biblical agriculture and landscapes park at Neot Kedumim. Continue to Tel Aviv. At Independence Hall, relive Ben Gurion's moving declaration of the State. Enjoy an impressive presentation of the amazing achievements of the Palmach at the multi-media Palmach Museum. Evening: Enjoy dinner at Café Kapish in Old Jaffa, served by deaf waiters who will teach you sign language during your meal, followed by Na Laga'at, a unique play performed by actors who are both deaf and blind.

Wednesday, 21 March - The Golan Heights
Travel north along Israel's border with Jordan to the Golan Heights. At Kibbutz El Rom, see original footage from the brave Valley of Tears Kahalani battle, which secured the Golan Heights during the Yom Kippur War. Take a lovely nature walk through the lush forests and streams of the Banyas/Tel Dan Nature Reserve. Continue to the Tzahar Region for hotel check-in and dinner. Evening lecture at the hotel: "Introduction to Tzefat Kabbalah".

Thursday, 22 March - Jewish Mysticism in the Galilee
Nature tour in the footsteps of the Zohar ((basic mystical text of Kabbalah). Visit to a mystical cave in Peki'in Visit Meron, site of the tomb of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, the Beria Forest, and Amukah - the Valley of Love and tomb of R. Yonathan B. Uziel, the mystical matchmaker; learn about Kabbalah and marital relationships. Take in a workshop on Galilean medicinal herbs and Maimonides' spiritual remedies in Rosh Pina. Ethnic dinner in Tzefat. Kabbalistic art show: Meet with a kabbalistic artist to learn about Kabbalah through the prism of his creations.

Friday, 23 March - Tzefat Then and Now

Sunday, 25 March - Taking Tzefat Home and the Mediterranean Coast
Enjoy a special mystical meditation followed by an arts and crafts workshop with Tzefat artists. Walk through the fascinating, underground Roman water system that once fed ancient Caesaria at Alona Park near Binyamina (strap-on water shoes, small towel needed). See ancient history come to life at the multi-media center against the backdrop of ancient Casesaria. Excavations include an impressive amphitheater and aqueduct Farewell dinner in Caesaria. Depart for the airport.

Monday, 26 March - A Temporary Departure
