Day 1. Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport.
Met by a CHT representative and transfer to your hotel.
Dinner and overnight Grand Court Hotel, Jerusalem
Day 2. Jerusalem: Mt. of Olives/Kidron Valley/Garden of
Gethsemane/Garden Tomb
After Breakfast ascend the Mount of Olives to have a
wonderful panoramic view of the Old City of Jerusalem with
the Temple Mount . Drive to the Garden of Gethsemane,
the place where Jesus was arrested (Matthew 26: 36-58), to
see the old olive trees and visit the Basilica of the Agony.
Proceed along the Kidron Valley for a panoramic view of the
Tomb of Absalom, the Tomb of the priests' family B'nei
Chanzir and the Monument to Zechariah. Drive next to
Mount Zion to visit the Room of the Last Supper (Cenacle),
the Tomb of King David, and the Church of Peter in
Gallicantu. In the area of Golgotha (place of the skull) and
the Garden Tomb, we celebrate the resurrection with
communion and a time of Praise.

Day 3. Jerusalem : Old City/Mount Zion
After breakfast we enter the Old City of Jerusalem and
ascend the Temple Mount. Walk across the Temple Mount
from its southern to its northern end and then descend to
visit the Church of St. Anne and the Pool of Bethesda (John
5: 1-15). Proceed through the Via Dolorosa walking along
the Stations of the Cross from the remains of the Antonia to
the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. After these visits, walking
through the colorful bazaar, reach the Jewish Quarter, visit
the Cardo (a Roman's street) and the excavated Herodian
Quarter (Wohl Archeological Museum). Then, in the Kotel
Tunnels, walk alongside the massive foundation stones of
the Western Wall (if available)

Day 4. Jerusalem : City of David/Southern Wall/Western Wall/Israel Museum/Knesset
Visit the City of David and the Pool of Siloah for an
extensive tour, including sloshing through Hezekiah’s Water
Tunnel, which once supplied water to the residents of
Jerusalem (strap-on water shoes, flashlights needed).
Tour the Southern Wall Excavations, where Hulda’s Gate
can be seen and the Temple Steps can be ascended
Stop at the Western (“Wailing”) Wall - the holiest place for
the Jews. Visit the Israel Museum with its Shrine of the
Book, where the Dead Sea scrolls are kept, and to see the
Model of Jerusalem as it was at the time of the Second
Temple then see the Menorah in front of the Knesset - the
Israeli Parliament.

Day 5. Jerusalem/Ein Gedi/Qumran
After breakfast, enjoy a free morning to explore Jerusalem
on one’s own. We depart from the hotel early afternoon and
drive to the Dead Sea Region, the lowest place on earth.
Visit the oasis of Ein Gedi, where King Saul hid from David
(Samuel I, 23: 29 and Samuel I, 24: 1).
Walking tour in the Nahal David till the waterfalls and then back
to the bus. Hotel check-in and "dip" and "float" in the salty water of
the Dead Sea. Enjoy a Bedouin dinner tonight in a Bedouin tent

Day 6. Masada/Jordan River Valley/Galilee
After breakfast, we drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to the
mountaintop fortress of Masada. Tour the impressive excavations
and hear the harrowing story of its Jewish residents during Roman
times. Drive to drive to Qumran, the city of the Essenes, where
the Dead Sea Scrolls were found in a cave by a shepherd. Travel
north through the Jordan River Valley to the Galilee Region. Enjoy
a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee , where Jesus walked on the
water (Matthew 14: 22-23). The ride will end at Ginnosar, where
we shall visit the Ancient Boat from the time of Jesus that was
found nearby. Dinner and overnight Nof Ginosar, Tiberias
Day 7. Galilee
After breakfast, Drive to the Mount of Beatitudes (Matthew 5:7) to
visit the heptagonal church built by the Italian architect Berluzzi.
Proceed to Tabgha to visit the Church of the Loaves and the Fish
(Matthew 14: 14-34).Driving along the North shores of the Sea of
Galilee we shall reach Capernaum - the town of Jesus - where he
lived in the house of Peter performing from there his miracles and
healings (Matthew 4:13, Matthew 8: 14-15). Stop near Beit Saida
(John 1: 45) and visit Gerase (Matthew 5: 1-20). Stop at Yardenit
on the Jordan River, where we can participate in a baptismal
ceremony. Enjoy free time in Tiberias to walk along the Sea of
Galilee Dinner and overnight Nof Ginosar, Tiberias
Day 8. Nazareth / Sepphoris/Muhraka
After breakfast drive to Nazareth via Cana, to tour the Church of
Annunciation (Luke 26: 28). Enjoy a visit to tour Nazareth Village,
where the Bible comes to life. Then visit Sepphoris, a large
neighboring urban center to Nazareth during the time of Jesus’
youth. Proceed to Mount Carmel to visit the Monastery of the
Muhraka, where Elijah fought with the Baal priests. From the roofs
of this Monastery we have a beautiful view of the Jezreel Plain.
Dinner and overnight Nof Ginosar, Tiberias
Day 9. Megiddo /Old Jaffa
Travel through the Jezreel Plain on to Megiddo, named also
Armageddon--the place where the last battle of mankind is due to
take place (the Apocalypse of St. John)--to visit the Museum and
this 5,000 year old city with the Gates from the times of King
Solomon, the old Canaanite temples and the water tunnel from
the time of King Ahab. Visit Caesarea Maritima, including the
Roman Theater, Herod's Palace, the Palace of the Roman
Procurator (Apostles 23: 23 and Apostles 26: 23 - Paul; Apostles
10: 20-48 - Peter and Cornelius), the Amphitheater, the
Crusaders' City and Harbor. Continue to Old Jaffa, the port from
which Jonah the Prophet tried to flee God’s command and the
place where Peter raised Tabitha from the Dead. Free time to
explore Old Jaffa on one’s own (time permitting). Farewell dinner
in Old Jaffa. Overnight Grand Beach, Tel Aviv
Day 10. Arrive home
After breakfast transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for departure flight.
